 MCB Consulting is currently seeking a Sales and Business Development Team Leader for its SBD team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing various activities aimed at accomplishing specific goals and objectives, which include the development of new products and the identification of new markets for existing products and services. Additionally, they will play a key role in enhancing the performance of the sales team, coordinating sales operations, and implementing sales techniques to exceed sales targets.

 

Detailed Description

·       Drive strategic development in an increasingly diverse market place and multicultural context;

·       Showcase the company’s capabilities, benefits and value proposition in all interactions and work effectively to deliver these key messages to the market place;

·       Evaluate project/intervention proposals and recommend to CEO those to be taken onboard aligned with the company’s current strategic objectives;

·       Identity the competitive service strengths and weaknesses of the company and make continuous improvement;

·       Research information on target sectors, customers and competitors to provide insights on business opportunities;

·       Build solid pipeline of prospects, managing the pipeline, identifying and aligning the best solution to ensure a successful partnership moving forward;

·       Manage and support your team members so as to achieve the vision and objectives of the company while being geared toward a safe and secure environment;

·       Meet assigned revenue targets by generating business from new and existing clients while managing partnership pricing and negotiations;

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

·       5 years’ experience in Business Development including international exposure

·       Business Development experience in consulting sector;

·       Proven track record in selling consulting services and achieving revenue targets;

·       Solid financial, business and industry insights and selling skills;

·       Bachelor’s degree in Business related fields (Accounting, Business Management, Economics, Finance etc.);

·       Banking knowledge;

·       Fluency in English and French – verbal and written. Additional language skills would be of benefit.

·       Ability to work under tight deadlines, on flexible working hours and to travel abroad;

·       An orderly and systematic approach to work, ensuring that high quality and customer service standards are met.
