In light of the above, alongside our expansion strategy, we are looking for a passionate & result-focused  IT Consultant – DevOps for our IT Delivery team.

 

Role and Responsibilities

  • Solutions-driven and focused on achieving outputs while ensuring that key objectives are met – Deciding and initiating action.
  • Setting up tools and required infrastructure. Defining and setting development, test, release, update and support processes for DevOps operation.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless integration and deployment processes.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues within the Azure ecosystems inline with core banking deployment practices.
  • Provide expertise on the IT infrastructure and environment, assisting in its integration and operation where required.
  • Have the technical skill to review, verify and validate the software code developed in projects. Troubleshoot and fix code bugs.
  • Lead and mentor junior DevOps team members, promoting best practices and continuous learning.
  • Consults widely, probe facts, analyse issues from different perspectives – Analysing.
  • Proposes and implement alternative approaches to meeting customer needs and delivering quality results – Delivering results and meeting customers expectation.
  • Relates well to different types of people at different levels – Relating and networking.
  • Demonstrates willingness and ability to adjust to changing priorities and targets – Adapting and responding to change.
  • Makes decisions in line with company guidelines and procedures – Following instructions and procedures.
  • Good knowledge to lead the analysis phase with client and produce design documents & developments later on

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience with RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQL Server)
  • Proven experience with Azure cloud services with related certifications
  • Experience working with Linux
  • Minimum of 3 years’ working experience

 

Technical Requirements

  • Deep understanding of CI/CD tools and methodologies (Version control with GIT, Docker and Kubernetes)
  • Java Advanced & Enterprise Edition

Added Advantage

  • Enterprise Development
  • Infobasic & Temenos Transact T24 Development knowledge
  • Working with different application servers such as JBOSS, Websphere , Weblogic etc
  • Experience with other Cloud technologies (e.g. AWS)
  • The candidate should be able to work under tight deadlines on flexible hours and to travel abroad;
