MCB Consulting is seeking for a Head of Finance responsible for overseeing income and expenditure management, implementing financial controls, and ensuring the overall financial success of the business. This role includes advising Top Management on effective business planning and decision-making. The primary objective is to uphold the company's financial health, adhering to ISO 9001:2015 requirements for Internal Quality Management Systems and the Risk Management Framework.

Detailed Description

• Identify and assess the pros and cons of possible recommended strategies and/or quick wins to recommend appropriate and practical solutions;
• Oversee both internal and external audits, collaborating with various stakeholders as necessary;
• Manage the Internal Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001:2015
• Coordinate all audit activities for ISO 9001:2015
• Manage the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework;
• Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures to minimize financial loss and safeguard the reputation of the MCB Consulting Services Ltd;
• Monitor assignments to ensure cost containment within allocated budget, taking corrective actions as needed, and providing regular reporting updates;
• Implement effective liquidity Management;
• Prepare annual budget and monitor exceptions on a monthly basis;
• Maintain high quality financial statements for the Company through provision of technical expertise, alignment of accounting policies with International Accounting standards (IAS/IFRS) and Group policies/standards;
• Provide financial management advice for budget revisions, periodic forecasts and any changes needed;
• Monitor petty cash and bank balances to ensure sufficient funds are always available depending on the programme needs;
• Conduct close monitoring and follow up of all receivables for prompt settlement;
• Ensure the proper maintenance of the fixed asset register;
• Act as the guardian of the MCBC Procedure Manual;
• Establish and implement financial procedures in line with organizational requirements;
• Conduct research into the industry trends, risk, markets and competitors to propose value-added solutions and build a competitive advantage;
• Manage the Finance staff;
• Supervise, when needed, other specific functional parts of the implementation plan.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business related fields (Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Law, Statistics…)
• Proven ability financial analysis and forecasting;
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in administrative and financial management of large international projects;
• Broad experience in various functional areas within the financial services/banking industry;
• Sound knowledge of accounting package;
• Proficient in Excel, Word and Powerpoint;
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills;
